Basketball Team to Hold Tailgatin' at the Tad Pad Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. - Prior to Saturday's Ole Miss-Auburn football game, Rebel fans can get their first glimpse of the 2004-05 Ole Miss basketball team at "Tailgatin' at the Tad Pad", sponsored by the Tip-Off Club, noon-2 p.m. at Tad Smith Coliseum. Head Coach Rod Barnes will direct his squad in a full-scale practice open to the public.
Following the workout will be a reception for Ole Miss Tip-Off Club members. Members will be treated to refreshments in the coaches' offices, a meet-and-greet session with Rebel players and coaches, and a tour of lockerroom renovations.
To join the Ole Miss Tip-Off Club, call the Basketball Office at 662-915-7893. Fans will also have an opportunity to join the Tip-Off Club at "Tailgatin' at the Tad Pad".
The Rebels open the 2004-05 campaign Nov. 14-16 at the BCA Classic in Milwaukee, Wisc. The home opener will be Nov. 19 against Tennessee Tech.
