Leigh Barrow Named to SEC Soccer Good Works Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Ole Miss' Leigh Barrow was named to the SEC Soccer Good Works Team Tuesday, as announced by the league office.

A senior midfielder, Barrow has been involved in a number of community service projects during her four seasons in the Red and Blue, including "Reading with the Rebels" at local elementary schools, Bingo Night and making Valentine's cards for Azalea Gardens retirement home, Christmas caroling with the FCA, and Campus Crusade for Christ Summer Project.

A managerial finance and real estate major from Guntersville, Ala., Barrow is an active member of the FCA and Campus Crusade. She is a two-time SEC Academic Honor Roll selection and a 2002 Academic All-District honoree.

The SEC sponsors Good Works Teams for all 20 league sponsored sports. The Good Works Team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service.

The SEC Soccer Championship Tournament will be held this week in Auburn, Ala. Ole Miss and host Auburn face off in the opening match of the tourney Thursday at noon CT.
