Rifle To Host Murray State In Season Finale Saturday

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss rifle team wraps up its 2004 spring campaign with a dual match against Murray State Saturday at the University Rifle Range. The all-day competition, which will include rounds of both smallbore and air rifle, is expected to get underway at approximately 8 a.m.
Saturday's match will mark the last time that Ole Miss shoots at the University Rifle Range. Beginning in the fall of 2004, the Rebels will call the new National Guard facility home.
The tilt vs. Murray State will be the team's season finale, but not the case for three individuals who will move on to the Junior Olympics March 17-22 in Colorado Springs, Colo. Freshman Jennifer Lorenzen will be representing the state of Tennessee at the Olympic Training Center, while freshman Mara Polonsky will be shooting on behalf of New Hampshire and sophomore Laura Gavin on behalf of Rhode Island.
