LSU (10-6, 3-2 Southeastern), coming off its worst loss in three years - 89-58 at Kentucky, hit its stride again at home. The Tigers are 10-1 at home this season, 0-4 on the road and have lost five straight Southeastern Conference road games.
Glen Davis also had his fifth double-double, scoring 13 points for LSU and taking 10 rebounds. Darrell Mitchell scored 16 points, Tack Minor had 12 and Antonio Hudson scored 10.

Ole Miss (11-9, 2-5), opened the second half with a 13-6 run to take a 10 point lead, 50-40, three minuets into the half.
Brandon Patterson made a basket with 11:53 left and Ole Miss got another two points at the 10:44 mark when Bass was called for goal tending on Todd Abernathy's shot. That gave the Rebels a 55-46 lead. But Mississippi did not score again until Patterson's 3-pointer with 2:50 remaining. By that time LSU had used a 13-0 run to take the lead.
