OAKLAND, Calif. - Ole Miss sophomore Amy Gill added yet another accolade to her name this week when she was named a forward on Soccer America's national Team of the Week on Wednesday.

Over the weekend, Gill helped the Rebels to their fifth- and sixth-straight wins in SEC play, including the program's first-ever win over Florida, on their way to a No. 23 national ranking (Soccer America).

On Sunday, Gill scored the game-winning goal against the Gators with just over two minutes left when she took a perfectly placed diagonal cross from Chrissy Strini and knocked it to the right of the goalkeeper to give Ole Miss the monumental 1-0 win.

The native of Loveland, Ohio, also scored the third of the Rebels' three goals in the final 10 minutes of regulation against South Carolina on Friday to give Ole Miss a 3-1 come-from-behind victory.

For her efforts, Gill was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday and added an honor when she was tabbed by Top Drawer Soccer to their national Team of the Week on Tuesday.

She currently ranks third on the Rebel team with 10 points, including three goals and four assists.

Ole Miss returns to action when they travel to Kentucky on Friday for a 5 p.m. matchup. They will return to Oxford for the final two games of the regular season, hosting Vanderbilt on Sunday and Mississippi State next Friday.

Ole Miss is tied atop the SEC standings with Tennessee. Both teams have a 7-1 league record, while Ole Miss and Vanderbilt lead the SEC with 13-3 overall marks.
