Ole Miss Rifle Falls To Nebraska

Oxford, Miss. - The Ole Miss Rebel rifle team fell to the defending Great American Rifle Conference champion, Nebraska on Saturday, by a team aggregate of 4642-4600.
One bright spot for the Rebels was the shooting Shannon Wilson. The sophomore from Fairfax Station, Va., set a person best and tied the school record, with a score of 590 in the air rifle. Wilson also led Ole Miss in the smallbore competition, with a score of 573.
Nebraska out scored Ole Miss 2321-2272 in the smallbore and 2346-2327 in the team air rifle.
Next up the Rebels travel to Morgantown, W.V. on Saturday, Nov 12, for a dual match with host school West Virginia and N.C. State.
