OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss soccer players Jennifer Hance and Chrissy Strini have added more accolades to their names, as both were honored as members of 2005 NSCAA/adidas Central Region All-America teams this week.

Hance, a freshman from Sugar Land, Texas, was named to the Central Region first team, while Strini, a sophomore from Cordova, Tenn., earned second-team honors.

The pair of midfielders led a balanced offensive attack for the Southeastern Conference West Champion Rebels this season. They tied for the team-lead with seven goals, while Strini tied for the SEC-lead with seven assists. Five of Hance's seven goals were game-winners, which was the highest total in the conference.

Ole Miss won its third SEC West Championship in 2005 and secured the program's third NCAA Tournament berth in the last four years. For their individual efforts, Hance was named SEC Freshman of the Year and All-SEC first team, while Strini also garnered first-team accolades.

The Rebels look to continue their success in 2006. With just senior Hillary Beckman graduating, Ole Miss will be primed for another run at postseason play.
