OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss' Tommie Eddie has been selected as one of three finalists for the Cellular South Howell Trophy, which will be awarded to Mississippi's top male college basketball player of the year on Apr. 14, 2005.

The other finalists for the award, which is in its first year of existence, are Mississippi State seniors Lawrence Roberts and Shane Powers. The trio finished at the top of voting by media members from across the state.
