Lady Rebel Golfers Move Up To Tenth At Pinehurst Challenge

PINEHURST, N.C. - The Ole Miss women's golf team improved on their first round 322 by shooting a second-round 316 to move up two spots into a tie for 10th place at the Pinehurst Challenge Monday.
Sophomore Katie Davidson fired a 76 at the Pinehurst #8 golf course on Monday to move into a tie for 16th with the Lady Rebels' low score of 155 heading into the third and final round Tuesday.
Other Ole Miss scores included a 79 by junior Laura Evans, an 80 by senior Nikki Hadd, an 81 by junior Sarah Kate Cousart and an 82 by freshman Katherine Jones.
Washington State is the team leader after firing a 301 on Monday to go to 604 through 36 holes.
Play concludes Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
