Rebel Netters To Meet In Middle Tennessee Invitational Final

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Ole Miss will take home a title at the Middle Tennessee Fall Invitational Sunday as sophomores Erling Tveit and Bram ten Berge battle in the Flight A1 singles final at Noon.
Tveit, the No. 1 seed in the tournament, has not dropped a set on his way to the final. In the semifinals, Tveit, ranked No. 43 in the country, defeated Kentucky's Nate Emge, ranked No. 94 nationally, 6-4, 6-2.
ten Berge, who also has not lost a set, downed Any Mack of Vanderbilt in the semifinals, 6-3, 6-1.
Before his Noon final against ten Berge, Tveit will team up with junior Christopher Rea in the semifinals of the Flight A1 doubles against Evan Dufaux and Mack of Vanderbilt. After a first round bye, Tveit and Rea defeated James Spence and Oskar Saarne of Memphis 8-4.
In the other Flight A1 doubles match, ten Berge and Jakob Klaeson won their first match, dominating Jhonny Berrido and Nicolas Houard of Louisville, 8-0, before falling to Middle Tennessee's Greg Pollack and Rishan Kuruppu 8-2.
The Rebels will be vying for their second tournament title in as many weeks, as they won the singles and doubles titles' at the Ole Miss Fall Classic in Tunica, Miss., last weekend.

First round - ten Berge/Klaeson (OM) def. Jhonny Berrido/Nicolas Houard (UL) 8-0. Quarterfinals -- Tveit/Rea (OM) def. James Spence/Oskar Saarne (UM) 8-4; Greg Pollack/Rishan Kuruppu (MT) def. ten Berge/Klaeson (OM) 8-2.
