Rod Barnes Radio Show to Tip Off Tonight

OXFORD, Miss. - The first 2006 airing of the Rod Barnes Radio Call-In Show will take place tonight from 6-7 p.m. CT on Ole Miss radio affiliates across the region.
The weekly broadcast of the show will run at the same time each Thursday throughout the season. Barnes will offer his thoughts on the Rebels' upcoming games and will field questions from callers.
Returning as host is David Kellum, who is in his 17th season as the "Voice of the Rebels". An Oxford native, Kellum has been associated with Ole Miss broadcasts for 27 years and has been named the Mississippi Sportscaster of the Year four of the last seven years.
Ole Miss opens Southeastern Conference play Saturday at Alabama. Tip is set for 5 p.m. CT and will be televised by FSN South.
