OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss basketball program will be well represented on the baseball diamond this weekend, as Rebel great Sean Tuohy will throw out the first pitch at Sunday's Ole Miss-Tennessee series finale at Oxford-University Stadium/ Swayze Field. Sunday's game time is set for 1:30 p.m. CT.

In addition, new Rebel head basketball coach Andy Kennedy will toss the opening pitch at Saturday's game two of the series at 4 p.m. Friday's first pitch at 6:30 p.m. will be thrown by Sergeant Jeffrey Watkins, a student at Ole Miss and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

From 1979 to 1982, Tuohy earned All-SEC honors three years and guided the Rebels to three consecutive postseason appearances for the first time in school history. He served as team captain for three years, including the 1981 squad that remains the only Ole Miss basketball team ever to win an SEC tournament championship.

His 830 assists still stands as the SEC career record, and his 260 assists in 1980 remains the league single-season standard. At this year's conference tournament in Nashville, Tuohy was honored as Ole Miss' SEC Legend.
