OXFORD, Miss. - Head coach Steve Holeman has announced the signing of Tulane transfer Jessie Hrapmann (Mandeville, La.) to bring the incoming fall signing class to seven players.

A 5-foot-3 forward, Hrapmann will join the Rebels as a redshirt freshman after a knee injury forced her to miss her entire freshman season with the Green Wave.

Before a season-ending knee injury during her senior season at Fontainebleau High School, Hrapmann was a force as a junior. The 2004 NSCAA All-American was named MVP of the 2004 Louisiana Class 5A Soccer Championship and holds the FHS season scoring record with 42 goals and 14 assists. She ended her high school career with 119 goals. A two-time selection to the all-state team, Hrapmann was voted the 2004 LHSAA Soccer Player of the Year. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and competed on the track team for two seasons. She was coached in high school by Raymond Braurer.

On the youth soccer level, Hrapmann played on the Louisiana ODP team and was the leading scorer for the 2002 Louisiana state champion and 2003 state runner-up Mandeville Soccer Club.

"We are excited to have Jessie joining the team," Holeman said. "She is a pure goalscorer, and she could even compete for a starting spot up front this fall."

Hrapmann joins Mallory Coleman (Clinton, Miss.), Jackie Denova (Fort Benning, Ga.), Danielle Johnson (Baton Rouge, La.), Mallory Rickert (Prosper, Texas), Perryn Tyler (Brandon, Miss.) and Hannah Weatherly (Tupelo, Miss.) in this year's signing class.
