OXFORD, Miss. Instead of paying money for a ticket to this weekend’s Ole Miss men’s and women’s basketball exhibition games, all fans are being asked to bring canned goods or monetary donations for the Oxford Food Pantry in order to enter the gates at Tad Smith Coliseum.

The Food Pantry is in particular need of canned fruits and meats at this time, but all canned goods will be accepted.

SEC Coach of the Year Andy Kennedy's squad will get things kicked off on Friday at 7 p.m. against Delta State. It will be the final tune-up for the defending SEC Western Division Champions before the Nov. 10 season opener with Mississippi Valley State.

First-year women’s head coach Renee Ladner looks to continue the momentum from last year’s Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Lady Rebels host all-star squad DT-3 on Sunday at 6 p.m. in their first exhibition, followed by a second exhibition against the OGBR Legends on Thursday at 7 p.m.
