Rebel Netter Tveit Advances To Third Round At All-American

Tveit, seeded No. 7 in the field, was one of four of the top eight seeds to move on to Friday’s third round.
In the first round, Tveit faced a familiar opponent in Radford’s Martin Sayer. When the two met in the quarterfinals at last year’s Baylor Invitational, Tveit won in three sets. He would need three sets again. After winning the first set 7-5, Tveit lost the second 7-5, before claiming the third 6-4.
