Women's Golf Rounds Out Day One at SEC Tournament

WEST POINT, Miss.The Ole Miss women’s golf team sits in a tie for 11th place after the first round of the SEC Championship at Old Waverly Golf Course. The Rebels carded a first round score of 312.

 

No. 3 Georgia leads the overall event with a first round score of 289. Alabama stands in second at 291 and Tennessee is third at 292.

 

Senior Katie Davidson leads the Rebels with a first round score of 75. The Bonaire, Ga., native is in an eight-player tie for 23rd. Sophomore Dori Carter is second for Ole Miss. The Valdosta, Ga., native carded a first round 76, tying for 31st.
