LEXINGTON, Ky. All three of the Ole Miss men’s tennis players competing in the ITA Southeast Regional Championships advanced to the third round of singles Friday, at the Lexington Tennis Center.

Junior Kalle Norberg downed South Florida’s Mark Oljaca 6-2, 6-2 in the first round and then defeated Patrick Bandy of Kentucky 6-4, 6-3.   He will face the No. 3 seed, Nate Schnugg of Georgia in the third round Saturday.

Jonas Berg earned a first round bye and then got by Tennessee’s Christian Hansen.  The All-American won a key first set tiebreaker, 7-6(10) and then took the second set 6-3 to move on.   He will face Brad Cox of Kentucky next.

Fellow senior Bram ten Berge also had a first round bye, before taking out Vanderbilt newcomer Alex DiValerio 6-3, 6-2 in the second round.  He will play the winner of John Tragardh (LSU) and Charlie Ramsay (Memphis) in the third round.

The winners of both the singles and doubles earn a bid to the NCAA National Indoor in November.  Berg and ten Berge are already in the doubles as a result of their winning the All-American title last weekend.
