Ole Miss Basketball: The First 100 Years (1909-2009)
12/10/2008 | Men's Basketball
From the opening tip of the Jan. 28, 1909 clash with the Memphis Physicians to last season's march to the NIT Final Four at New York's Madison Square Garden, Ole Miss has been a key figure of the basketball landscape in the South and across the nation. Fans are invited to celebrate the first 100 years of Ole Miss Basketball with a season-long tribute to the program's history, which includes championship teams, elite athletes and plenty of great moments for Rebel fans to remember and cherish. Return to this site throughout the season for news on events and features.
The celebration of the First 100 Years of Ole Miss Basketball will culminate with the public introduction of the All-Century Team at the Feb. 21 game against Georgia at Tad Smith Coliseum.
