OXFORD, Miss. Both the Ole Miss men’s and women’s basketball teams have joined forces with the US Marine Crops Reserves to conduct a “Toys for Tots” drive at a selected game this holiday season.

The men’s team will hold its drive Monday, Dec. 15 when the Rebels play host to Alabama State, while the women’s team with sponsor a drive Wednesday, Dec. 17 against UALR. 

Fans who bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game will receive complimentary admission. The Marines will be on-site and will collect toys and donations.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves Toys for Tots Program is to collect and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. That means everything collected at the coliseum will go to kids right here in Lafayette County.
