Andy Kennedy Postgame Quotes

Opening statement
"Well, I'm a third year head coach, and I will never do that again. In hindsight, we won the game, so I guess it wasn't that poor of a decision. We went 14-0 in non-league play. That is only the second time in school history we have done that. Obviously, we weren't in sync with Presbyterian. I have to give them credit. Just looking at the juggernaut schedule that they have had to play just for the right to play Division 1 basketball, you have to give them credit."
On tonight's offensive play
"Well, basically tonight, we just tossed it to Dwayne Curtis and he scored, when he caught it. As for the rest of the guys, I guess they were just no shows."
On tonight's game
"Well, it was a win. It was a double whammy. We get the win, but we also picked up their strength of schedule numbers, which aren't that great. I will take a win over practice any day. The way our guys played tonight, I don't think they wanted to practice or play."
On Chris Warren not shooting the ball tonight
"It wasn't part of my plan, maybe it was in his. I wasn't brought up to speed on that one. He picked up a couple of fouls early. Smitty (Brian Smith) came in and gave us quality minutes tonight."
On the defensive performance tonight
"We didn't guard the bounce. I think we need to sit down and correct a want-to. We need to instill in them that they need to not allow their guy to beat them in penetration. I give Presbyterian credit. They do what they do to try and stay in games. If you look at their scores, we are not the only ones they have done this to. They control the tempo and make people play at their pace, even if you are up by 10."
