On the game:
"Give Ole Miss credit. They gave us their best shot, and they played extremely well. The difference in the first half was they beat us on the backboards. In the second half, we closed the gap and gave ourselves a chance to win. We needed to be more efficient on offense when we cut their lead down to four points. We just came up short."
On Dwayne Curtis and Kenny Williams:
"Curtis is as big as anybody in the SEC. His play down low was huge for them. Kenny Williams had a big night tonight. I thought he really stepped up for them and played well."
On MSU's bench:
"We couldn't rely on our bench as much tonight. It's a little different when you play on the road in a hostile environment. Elgin Bailey gave us a great effort, but our bench will need to step up for us to win on the road."
Looking ahead:
"We're at South Carolina next. That's all that matters. It's tough to win on the road. We've got to find a way to keep pace on the road and win some games."
