Opening Statement
"For us, it's a win. Where we are right now from a personnel standpoint, any win we can get, obviously we'll take it. On defense, we were outstanding. The pace of the game made possessions hard to come by. We're averaging sixty-something shots a game, we take 38 and we're having to change the way we play. Every shot that they took was at the end of the shot clock. If we do a better job on our defensive boards, which has been our problem all year, I think there would have been a little more separation. I'm proud of our guys, and different guys stepped up when we needed them down the stretch. It's number nine, and we'll take it."
On Rebels' defensive effort
"I thought our defense was pretty good. They run an offense that we didn't have a lot of time to look at. We've had to spend most of our time on us and trying for us to get better, so from a scouting standpoint, we were not prepared to guard a lot of the action they were going to do offensively, so we said we were going to get in the zone and see if we can get them to turn the ball over. It would have worked perfectly if we held them to one shot. I don't think they made many three's. They made a couple at the end, but anytime you can hold a team to 41 points, you have to be pleased with the effort."
