OXFORD, Miss. Ole Miss head basketball coach Andy Kennedy begins his weekly call-in radio show this Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. CT. “Reb Talk with Andy Kennedy” will be aired on Ole Miss Radio Network affiliates across the region as well as live on OleMissSports.com’s RebelVision.
Kennedy will offer his thoughts on the Rebels and field questions from callers at the same time each Thursday throughout the season. Reb Talk will air live from the studio at the Ole Miss Radio Network’s flagship station, WQLJ-FM in Oxford.
Returning as host for Reb Talk is David Kellum, who is in his 20th season as the Voice of the Rebels. An Oxford native, Kellum has been associated with Ole Miss broadcasts for 30 years and has been named the Mississippi Sportscaster of the Year four of the last 10 years.
Kennedy has led Ole Miss to two straight NIT appearances in his first two seasons, including a trip to last year’s Final Four in New York City. The 2007 SEC Coach of the Year has guided this year’s team to a 9-5 start, despite already losing three of its top players to season-ending injuries.
Tipoff for Saturday's SEC opener at Florida is 6 p.m. ET. The game will be televised throughout the South by FSN South and SUN Sports. Check your local cable or satellite listings for the channel.
