Ronaldi Lands On Soccer America Team of the Week

OXFORD, Miss. - After leading Ole Miss to a pair of shutouts on the road this past weekend, sophomore goalkeeper Alley Ronaldi was named to Soccer America's Team of the Week Tuesday.

Ronaldi's national honor follows up the SEC Defensive Player of the Week accolade she received Monday. A native of The Woodlands, Texas, she receives a national weekly honor for the first time in her career. She is the fourth Rebel to earn such honors this year, joining Taylor Cunningham (Soccer America - Sept. 1), Abbie Curran (College Soccer 360 - Oct. 6) and Danielle Johnson (Soccer America and CS360 - Oct. 13).

Ronaldi's five saves helped shut out one of the nation's most potent offenses at No. 15 LSU, while she made a season-high nine saves in a 1-0 overtime win at Arkansas. Her season goals-against average dropped to 0.61, fourth-best among SEC keepers. She now has seven shutouts, which is already the fourth-best season total in school history.

The 17th-ranked Rebels, who have produced three shutouts in their last four games, close out a five-match road swing on Thursday with a visit to Kentucky before returning home for the final three contests of the regular season.
