Rebel Rifle Hosts Army And Nebraska

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Rebel rifle team will host a pair Great America Rifle Conference foes this weekend as Army and Nebraska will face off against the Rebels at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center.
Ole Miss will host Army at 8 a.m. on Saturday and finish the weekend by taking on Nebraska at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
"This is kind of a kickoff for our conference play since we are facing off against two GARC opponents," said Ole Miss head coach Valerie Boothe. "We have worked really hard in the last couple of weeks on improving in a couple of areas, and I really think that is going to show this weekend."
The Rebels turned in a pair of 3rd-place finished at the Ole Miss Invitational and Tiger Invitational to open the season in early October. Sophomore Keely Stankey fired a smallbore score of 572 at the Tiger Invitational and 578 in the Ole Miss invitation to lead the team in both matches.
