OXFORD, Miss. - Four Ole Miss soccer players have been selected to one of the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI squads, presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
Senior midfielder Danielle Johnson and sophomore forward Kelsey Breathitt made the all-district second team, while sophomore goalkeeper Alley Ronaldi and sophomore defender Meredith Snow were third-team picks.
Johnson made academic all-district for the second straight year, while Breathitt, Ronaldi and Snow each receive the honor for the first time in their career in their first year of eligibility for the award.
Johnson maintains a 3.55 grade point average as a management major, while being a three-time All-SEC player on the field. Breathitt holds a 3.73 GPA and majors in biological science. Ronaldi has a 3.71 GPA also in biological science. Snow, one of the SEC's top defenders, holds a 3.48 GPA, while she has not yet selected a major from within the College of Liberal Arts.
Ole Miss now boasts 33 academic all-district selections in program history and has placed at least two student-athletes from the soccer team on an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District squad for eight straight years. Johnson is the eighth multiple-time honoree in program history.
