Hey loyal Rebel fans,

What a Rebel Ride we are on!! And what a fun ride it is!!! From starting the beginning of the year with an injury that I was afraid would not let me play this year and having fifteen new faces on the team, to not only getting to play, but beating Florida and other nationally ranked teams along the way, and having one of the best seasons of all my four years at Ole Miss and now a chance to play in the NCAA Tournament in Portland, Oregon, this Friday night against Washington, it's been a joy to be a Rebel!!

A week ago we were in Orange Beach with high hopes of a championship run. We went down on Monday and enjoyed some down time on the beach, along with practicing at Gulf Shores High School where they treated us like royalty. We stayed in a super nice condo on the beach called "Escapes by the Sea" and looked forward to our first-round game with Auburn on Wednesday. As a senior, I had been fortunate enough to experience the SEC Tournament every year. And my first three years ended after the first game. We were planning on changing that this year! But when the last second ticked off the clock, the score was not what we had hoped it would be. But we had nothing to hang our heads about. We had a successful season. We had finished third in the SEC and were hoping to get an NCAA bid. That was something I had not gotten to experience during my years at Ole Miss. That would be a dream come true for Mallory, Dee and I. What a way to go out! But we would have to wait until Monday to find out. This was Wednesday. A long time to wait......

Finally Monday arrived, and I tried to busy my mind with schoolwork. We had scheduled a soccer clinic for kids before the selection show began at 7 p.m. Coach Holeman and the staff had invited everyone to come watch with us. I think that made me even more nervous!!!! But we felt nothing but love from the 200 or so people who showed up to cheer us on - or wipe our tears. Tension mounted as the brackets were being announced. I would anxiously scan the list of college names when the different brackets would come up on the screen. About the third or fourth bracket - there we are!!!!! OLE MISS!!!! All of our team jumped up and started screaming!!!!! I felt a tremendous rush of excitement, joy and release all at the same time! We had made it. All of our hard work and dedication, all the extra hours we had put in to make ourselves and our team better, it all became worth it in the twinkling of a second - the second I saw those words: OLE MISS.

God Bless and Hotty Toddy!!!

Hey loyal Rebel fans,

What a huge win for our program on Sunday against the #7-ranked Florida Gators! There cannot be enough said for how proud I am of our team. Sunday's win was a total team effort from start to finish. This was my first time to beat Florida in my four years as a Rebel and it was special and something I will never forget! We also got some awesome news on Monday letting us know that Soccer America put us in their Top 25 poll at number 24 in the nation! We are very grateful for the respect we received nationally and have high expectations for ourselves as we enter another huge SEC weekend against Georgia and Tennessee on the road.

We had very good practices on Tuesday and Wednesday after a much-needed day off on Monday. Today we will be flying charter out of Oxford to take on the #16 Georgia Bulldogs Friday night. We are very blessed to be at a university that gives their student-athletes the best.

We are very excited about the opportunity we have this weekend! Please watch us on Fox Sports South Friday night at 6 p.m and Sunday on ESPNU at 2:00 p.m.!!!

God Bless and Hotty Toddy!!
