Rebels Roll To Exhibition Win Behind 3-Point Surge

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Ole Miss started the second half by making its first seven three-point attempts and cruised to a 102-62 exhibition win over Auburn-Montgomery Friday night at Tad Smith Coliseum.
Chris Warren led four Rebels in double figures with 22 points, including 17 in the second half. Trevor Gaskins and Terrico White had 16 points apiece, while Eniel Polynice added 15 and a game-high seven rebounds for the Rebels. Auburn-Montgomery, who held a 38-35 halftime edge, was led by Charles Perona and Nathan White with 15 points apiece.
Ole Miss overwhelmed the Senators with a 40-9 run to open the second half. The Rebels were 16-of-22 during the surge, including eight three-point shots. Warren hit four three-point shots in the decisive run.
The Rebels finished 38-of-76, 50 percent, from the field, including 11-of-26 from three-point range.Ole Miss outrebounded Auburn-Montgomery 53-37 and forced 20 turnovers.
