NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Despite another outstanding game from freshman phenom Terrico White, who scored 23 points, Ole Miss could not overcome Vanderbilt in Memorial Coliseum, dropping a 71-61 decision on Saturday afternoon.

White accumulated four 3-pointers in his career-high outing, while David Huertas added 19 points.

A.J. Ogilvy scored 17 points to help Vanderbilt win its third straight game.

Vanderbilt (15-8, 4-5 Southeastern Conference) has dominated the series and never trailed, winning for the 46th time in the past 51 games between both teams. The Commodores improved to 46-5 when playing Ole Miss at Memorial Gym.

The Rebels (13-10, 4-5) came in having won three straight, a streak that included a win over then-No. 24 Kentucky and their largest home SEC victory under coach Andy Kennedy in a 78-59 win over Auburn on Wednesday night. But the Rebels missed their first eight shots, hitting 8-of-33 (24.2) percent in the first half.

Jeffery Taylor had 14 points for Vanderbilt. Brad Tinsley had 12 and Lance Goulbourne added 11 off the bench.
