Saturday Soccer Exhibition Versus MSU Cancelled

OXFORD, Miss. - Saturday's soccer exhibition game against Mississippi State, scheduled to be played in Ridgeland, Miss., has been cancelled due to unplayable conditions at the fields there.

Coaches at the two schools are working on rescheduling the contest for later in the spring season. Check back at OleMissSports.com for updates on the new location, date and time.

Steve Holeman's Rebels have compiled a fine spring season so far, winning three matches and tying one. Ole Miss defeated national powerhouse Texas 2-1 in its most recent outing on Feb. 28. The team opened the season with a 0-0 draw against Oklahoma State, which ranked as one of the nation's top 10 teams this past fall.
