OXFORD, Miss. - An exhibition soccer match between in-state rivals Ole Miss and Mississippi State has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 16, at 7 p.m. in Ridgeland, Miss.

The contest was originally scheduled for this past Saturday (March 28), but was cancelled due to unplayable field conditions after heavy rains.

The winner of the Rebel-Bulldog match will claim the Magnolia Cup that the schools have played for in spring and fall competition since April 2003. Ole Miss has won the cup each of the last four meetings in fall 2006 (2-0), fall 2007 (1-0), spring 2008 (6-0) and fall 2008 (3-1).

Steve Holeman's squad will be looking to remain unbeaten in spring action when the Rebels (3-0-1) host Iowa this Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium. Admission is free.
