On not making a run at the 10-12 minute mark in second half...
"I don't know exactly what happened. I know Malcolm White had a great game. He was 7-for-8 from the field and efficient at the rim. Murphy Holloway was 4-for-6. We had 15 offensive rebounds. I thought it was a very hard-fought contest. That's what this series is supposed to be about. I know both games of this series were like that. Both teams were battling to the very end. Looking at the stat sheet, it is glaring to me where they were leftthey were left at the free throw line. Ultimately, you have to take advantage of those opportunities."
On the play of Dee Bost defending Terrico White...
"They did a good job on him. Dee Bost is an excellent player. We got in early foul trouble. They took advantage. I thought State's bench was outstanding. Kodi Augustus really played outstanding. Romero Osby played well from the bench. We sustained them in the first half. (State) had foul trouble in their backcourt. Barry Stewart had a great game, as you would expect him to have. Terrico had some looks. I think he settled a little bit. He was 3-for-11 shooting three's. We're trying to get him to put pressure on the rim. Still, it's hard to be disappointed in a kid that's had the kind of year he's had."
On the last play of the game...
"We were just trying to do something to get the ball to Terrico. He's our strongest kid. David (Huertas) couldn't play. Zach (Graham) had fouled out. We were going to go to Terrico going to his right and let his momentum carry him to the basket. It was a perfect look for us. It was just based on timing."
On David Huertas...
"(It looked like) he was limping to me. I was proud that he gave it a try, but he looked really gimpy. He said at the half that he was going to try and play. He iced it at the half to try to get some of the swelling down."
