Danielle Johnson Named Preseason All-SEC

One of five players in Ole Miss history to be selected All-SEC three times, Johnson has the chance to become the program's first four-time selection with another standout year for the Rebels. She was also a preseason all-league pick last year. The Baton Rouge, La., native has started all 60 matches in her Rebel career and sat out for only 10 minutes over the past two seasons.
LSU led all schools with three selections while Florida and South Carolina each had two. Georgia's Carrie Patterson was the only unanimous selection. The coaches preseason All-SEC team consists of a minimum of 11 players. Each SEC head soccer coach voted for three forwards, three midfielders, three defenders, one goalkeeper and one at-large candidate. No ties were broken.
