"Pet A Puppy" Campaign Sunday At Soccer Game

Oxford, Miss. - The Ole Miss Soccer Team and the Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society are teaming up Sunday afternoon for the "Pet a Puppy Campaign" before the Ole Miss/Tennessee soccer game at 1 p.m.

The Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society will be bringing adoptable dogs to the match. In addition, they are asking fans to bring donations to the game. Donations they are requesting include food, toys and collars for puppies and a full list can be found below.

The Ole Miss soccer team will face Tennessee on Sunday at 1 p.m. in a game that will be televised by CSS. Admission is free.

Items the Oxford-Lafayette Humane Society Needs:
Puppy, adult dog, kitten, and adult cat food (dry, without red dye, preferably Purina, Pedigree, or Iams)

Bleach

Laundry Detergent (wet or dry)

Dawn liquid soap

Paper towels

Toilet paper

Gift cards: Wal-Mart, Freds

Collars (especially really small ones for puppies)

Toys of all kinds

Polar fleece blankets (we can cut up large ones to make several small beds for pups)

Hand sanitizer
