Boxx Withdraws From USTA/ITA National Indoor

FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y. - Ole Miss junior All-American Kristi Boxx withdrew from the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships Thursday due to an injury.
The Grenada, Miss., native earned an at-large spot in the 32-player field after she advanced to the semifinals at the ITA Southern Regionals in October. Boxx, ranked No. 20 nationally, finished the fall with a 10-4 record.
The 2010 SEC West Champion Rebels will open the spring season Jan. 25 at home against Southern Miss.
