OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Ole Miss reached triple digits for the first time since December of last year with a convincing 101-69 win over Mississippi Valley State Monday night.
Chris Warren scored 18 points as Ole Miss placed six players in double figures.
Warren added five assists and a steal to highlight the balanced attack of Ole Miss (6-2). Trevor Gaskins scored 15 points, Terrance Henry had 14 while Nick Williams, Demarco Cox and Dundrecous Nelson added 10 apiece for the Rebels.
Ole Miss led 52-26 at halftime and led by as many as 37 points in the second half. The Rebels improved to 31-0 against Southwestern Athletic Conference teams and 3-0 against Mississippi Valley State.
Mississippi Valley State (1-7) was led by D'Angelo Jackson with 20 points, 17 in the second half. The loss was the seventh straight for the Delta Devils, who managed only 23 of 64, 36 percent, from the field.
Ole Miss had runs of 20-5 and 24-9 to take an insurmountable 52-26 lead at halftime. The Delta Devils never got closer than 14 points again, despite a four-minute stretch of 11 consecutive points by Jackson.
The Rebels removed any doubt with a pair of 10-0 runs, which included three-point shots by Will Bogan, Nelson and Gaskins.
Mississippi Valley State was whistled for 25 fouls, including a pair of technical fouls and an intentional foul. Ole Miss responded by hitting 24 of 33, 73 percent, from the free throw line, including a 9 of 11 performance by Warren.
The Rebels shot 35 of 64, 55 percent from the field and outrebounded Mississippi Valley State 44-35.
