Eniel Polynice Suspended Indefinitely

3/6/2010 | Men's Basketball

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Ole Miss junior guard Eniel Polynice has been suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team, head coach Andy Kennedy announced Saturday.

Polynice averages 9.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game, while starting 25 of 29 contests this season.

The Rebels (20-9, 8-7 Southeastern Conference) close the regular season at Arkansas at 3 p.m. today in a pivotal matchup. The winner will clinch the Western Division No. 2 seed for next week's SEC Tournament, earning a first-round bye. An Ole Miss win and a Mississippi State loss to Tennessee would result in a Co-Western Division title for the Rebels and Bulldogs.
