Rebel Netters Win Doubles Draw At SEC Coaches Classic

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Ole Miss women's tennis duo of Laura van de Stroet and Soledad Podlipnik won their respective doubles draw at the SEC Coaches Classic Saturday, downing Rita Maisak and Adriana Pereira of South Carolina, 8-3.
The Rebels finished the day 5-4 in singles and doubles. van de Stroet also won her singles match, beating Mississippi State's Radka Ferancova 6-3, 6-3. Connor Vogel handed Alabama's Paulina Bigos a 7-5, 6-2 loss and Abigail Guthrie topped Zsofia Zubor of Tennessee, 7-5, 6-0.
Play concludes Sunday with one more round of singles at the Currey Tennis Center.
