OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss Sports Marketing, in conjunction with the Rebel soccer and volleyball programs, announced the launch of an exciting new promotion on Monday.

"Go For The Goat," sponsored by Oxford's Cafรƒยฉ Salon, features head soccer coach Matthew Mott and head volleyball coach Joe Getzin in a battle for best goatee bragging rights.

To make sure your favorite coach's goatee wins, cast your vote at www.GoForTheGoat.com. Voting begins Monday, Aug. 16, and runs through Thursday, Sept. 30. The limit is one vote per computer.

The loser of this heated facial hair battle will have to shave his goatee during halftime of one of the winner's matches. Ole Miss Sports Productions will be on hand to video all of the action.
