OXFORD, Miss. - As one of the top soccer teams in the Southeastern Conference, Ole Miss continues to be a prime choice for television network broadcasts.

The Rebels' Oct. 1 match at South Carolina has recently been selected as the NSCAA National Game of the Week and will appear on the FOX Soccer Channel. The 7 p.m. ET Friday showdown will be the second game of an FSC double-header (following the Maryland-Duke men's game) and will air on a four-hour tape delay.

This marks the fourth scheduled TV appearance for Matthew Mott's team in 2010, which will break the previous school record of three appearances set last year.

The Rebels' season opener is this Friday against Middle Tennessee. The match will kick off at 7 p.m. at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium. Admission is free.
