Jordan, Story Earn Weekly SEC Soccer Honors

OXFORD, Miss. - Junior Dylan Jordan and freshman Sarah Story were named SEC Offensive Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week, respectively, the SEC announced today.
Jordan helped Ole Miss to wins over Southern Miss and TCU over the weekend. She scored two goals and added the game-winning assist in a 3-0 win over Southern Miss Friday. Jordan tied her career highs in the game with two goals and five points in the match.
On Sunday she scored the game-winner against TCU to end the weekend with seven points. Jordan leads the team with 13 points (six goals and one assist) on the season. She has taken a team-leading 30 shots this year.
Story recorded back-to-back shutouts in leading Ole Miss to a 2-0 record. She recorded her first career shutout against Southern Miss on Friday and then made five saves in a 1-0 win over TCU Sunday.
Story has been a winning keeper in three of her last four starts. She kept a tough TCU team off the score board with a number of key saves including one late in the game. This season Story has played a team-leading 495 minutes and has allowed just six goals in six games and has a 1.09 GAA.
Ole Miss will open SEC play this weekend playing at Alabama on Friday at 7 p.m. followed by an ESPNU match at Auburn on Sunday at 4 p.m.
