Tennessee Rallies For Win Over Ole Miss

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss and Tennessee were tied 32-32 at halftime, but the Volunteers pulled away in the second half of a 74-57 win over the Rebels Saturday afternoon.
Chris Warren led Ole Miss (13-8, 1-5 SEC) with 16 points and moved into a tie for fifth in Southeastern Conference history with his 296th career 3-pointer.
Tennessee (14-7, 4-2) had three players in double figures, led by Brian Williams' 18 points. Scotty Hopson added 16 and Cameron Tatum 13. Williams also grabbed nine rebounds.
Ole Miss, which came into the game leading the conference in field-goal percentage at 47.0, was held to a season-low 26.7 percent. The Rebels were one game removed from their best shooting performance of the year - 62.2 percent at LSU.
The Volunteers, who were without head coach Bruce Pearl due to a suspension by SEC Commissioner Mike Slive, shot 43.3 percent, making 29 of 67 attempts.
Led by Tobias Harris' 12 rebounds, Tennessee won the battle of the boards 49-40.
Warren's impressive streak of consecutive free throws was halted at 36, finishing one shy of Dave Rhodes' school record. Warren entered the game as the national leader in foul line shooting at 94.8 percent.
Reginald Buckner added eight points and seven rebounds for the Rebels, who made 22 of 26 free throws (84.6 percent) and continue to lead the league in shooting percentage from the charity stripe.
Ole Miss led 32-30 before Brian Williams' layup at the halftime buzzer tied the score.
Tennessee used a 19-4 run early in the second half to put the game out of reach.
