Gleadall, Millsap, Sanders Lead Rebels At SEC/Pac-12 Challenge

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Natalie Gleadall, Haley Millsap, and Haley Sanders each carded a 2-over 74, as the Ole Miss Rebels shot a 301 in the opening round of the Mercedes-Benz SEC/Pac-12 Challenge Friday.
The Rebels sit in a tie for 14th place at the conclusion of the day's action. No. 1 UCLA leads the 23-team field with a 7-under 281-three strokes ahead of No. 6 Alabama.
On the first day, Ole Miss bested three top-25 opponents: No. 15 Georgia, No. 4 LSU, and No.23 Kentucky.
"It was a nice round in the windy conditions this morning for Natalie, Haley and Haley," said Ole Miss head coach Michele Drinkard. "Having experience on this golf course makes a big difference so expect Taelor and Ericka to feel more comfortable tomorrow and be more confident."
Gleadall and Sanders both struggled early before shooting a 2-under and 1-under, respectively, in the final 14 holes. Millsap also finished strong, racking up four birdies on the back nine.
Junior Ericka Schneider and freshman Taelor Rubin also competed for the Rebels.
