On the court, Demarco Cox is a 6-foot-8 center beginning his sophomore year at Ole Miss. He played in 29 games with four starts as a freshman and averaged 1.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per outing. With a year of college hoops under his belt, the Ole Miss coaches are expecting a big leap in his production. Known to teammates as "The Bear," Cox concentrated on his fitness throughout the offseason and has gotten his weight down to 276 pounds (he entered college around 320).
While the Rebels are expecting big things from the Yazoo, Miss., native on the hardwood, he recently let us know more about himself off the court in the Q&A below.
