Ole Miss Moves To 2-0 With Easy Victory

OXFORD, Miss. (AP) - Murphy Holloway posted his first double-double of the season and Ole Miss cruised to a 69-39 win over Grambling State to move to 2-0 on the young season.
The 6-foot-7 Holloway shot 7 of 11 from the field and grabbed four offensive rebounds, while posting the 15th double-double of his career. Freshman Aaron Jones added 10 points, seven rebounds, three blocks and three steals.
The game was a blowout within minutes. Ole Miss (2-0) scored the first 10 points and was ahead 17-1 just five minutes into the game. The Rebels extended the lead to 47-17 by halftime despite shooting just 1 of 12 from 3-point range. The Rebels were just 2 of 26 on 3-pointers for the game.
Ole Miss starting forward Reginald Buckner didn't play because of conduct detrimental to the team.
Grambling (0-2) dressed just seven players. Demetri Wheeler led the Tigers with 12 points off the bench.
