TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Ole Miss rallied back from a 20-point halftime deficit to bring it within single digits late, but Alabama snapped the Rebels' three-game win streak with a 74-64 decision Saturday afternoon.
Chris Warren led the way with 15 points. Zach Graham scored 13 points and Dundrecous Nelson added 11.
Tony Mitchell scored 20 points to lead Alabama.
The Crimson Tide (16-8, 8-2 Southeastern Conference) gave up most of a 23-point lead in the second half but managed to hold off the Rebels (16-9, 4-6) and end their three-game SEC winning streak.
Alabama extended its lead in the SEC Western Division.
Alabama made only six field goals in the second half after building a 47-27 halftime cushion but the league's top defensive team limited Ole Miss to 36 percent shooting.
Warren, the SEC's No. 2 scorer, didn't make a field goal until his 3-pointer from the left corner with 1:16 left for the Rebels. That cut it to 70-62 but it was too late. Warren finished 2-of-10 from the field and 10-of-12 from the free throw line.
Warren did become the third-leading scorer in school history, passing Carlos Clark. The Rebels' senior point guard now has 1,836 points in his illustrious career.
Nelson hit three shots from very long range behind the arc to help whittle the Alabama lead in the second half.
JaMychal Green had 15 points, six blocked shots and three steals for the Tide. Trevor Releford added 14 points, seven assists and three more steals.
