2011 Schedule
OXFORD, Miss. - The 2011 Ole Miss soccer schedule is highlighted by games against six opponents that appeared in last year's NCAA tournament and will feature nine regular-season home games, second-year head coach Matt Mott announced today.

In 2011 Ole Miss will face three first-time opponents in The Citadel, Duke and Wright State. The six NCAA teams from a year ago that the Rebels will play this season are Duke, Memphis, Jackson State, Florida, Auburn and South Carolina.

"I am excited about our non-conference schedule and we are playing a lot of quality teams," Mott said. "We will go on the road for some difficult games against some quality opponents at Texas Tech, Duke and Memphis. I'm excited that we have a veteran team and our non-conference schedule will prepare us well for SEC play."

The Rebels will open the season hosting UT Martin in an exhibition on August 12. Throughout the month of August, Ole Miss will host Southern Miss (Aug. 19), travel to Texas Tech (Aug. 26) and take on Jackson State (Aug. 28) at home.

In September, the Rebels will face Wright State (Sept. 2) and Duke (Sept. 4) in a tournament hosted by Auburn before traveling to Memphis (Sept. 9). Throughout the remainder of the month, Ole Miss will host first-time opponent The Citadel (Sept. 11) and UAB (Sept. 17) to closeout non-conference play. Ole Miss will open SEC play with back-to-back road games at Arkansas (Sept. 23) and LSU (Sept. 25).

Ole Miss will host Auburn (Sept. 30) and Alabama (Oct. 2). The Rebels will play at Tennessee (Oct. 7) and Georgia (Oct. 9) before hosting three consecutive home games against 2010 SEC champion Florida (Oct. 14), 2010 SEC Tournament runner up South Carolina (Oct. 16) and Vanderbilt (Oct. 20).

The Rebels will travel to Kentucky (Oct. 23) before hosting intrastate rival Mississippi State (Oct. 28) to end the regular season.

The top eight teams in the league will play in the SEC Tournament held in Orange Beach, Ala., Nov, 2, 4, and 6 with the winner automatically advancing to the NCAA Tournament.
