OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's golf team recorded a fourth-place finish at the Rebel Intercollegiate Sunday on a windy day at the Ole Miss Golf Course.

Nationally-ranked Tennessee set a 54-hole course record with an 863 to lead the 18-team field. Tulsa finished second (893), while No. 10 Tulane took third (898), Ole Miss fourth (900) and Costal Carolina fifth (905). As a team, the Rebels finished above in-state foes Southern Mississippi (6th, 906, +42) and Mississippi State (11th, 923, +59).

"It was a dream three years ago that we start our home tournament back," head coach Michele Drinkard said. "We want to spend our last regular-season tournament at home, where we sleep in our own beds and play on our own course. Then we have a weekend off and then go to SECs. I thought the week went really well. We had great support and great volunteers out here. Everybody talked about how much they enjoyed playing the golf course, how friendly the atmosphere is here and how many great restaurants we have here. It's a big win-win."

On Sunday, Tennessee's Natahlie Mansson won on the third playoff hole and finished the tournament 72-67-73 (-3) to beat teammate Erica Popson (71-69-73, -3).

A pair of Rebels recorded top-10 finishes as Ashley Lance (73-73-74, +4) and teammate Natalie Gleadall (71-74-75, +4) tied for eighth overall.

"Our goal was to start playing one shot at a time to get our confidence back," Drinkard said. "This week, I think we really got our confidence back. We posted some scores under 300 now. When you're getting ready to go to SECs, where most of your teams are top-25 programs, which we should be too, it makes a difference seeing those numbers."

Up next for Ole Miss is the SEC Championships in Auburn, Ala., April 15-17.
