Rebels Take Part In Special Graduation Ceremony

OXFORD, Miss. -- Members of the Ole Miss track and field, women's tennis and men's tennis teams received their degrees in a special graduation ceremony Tuesday morning at the Johnson Commons Ballroom.
The special ceremony was held to honor the graduating members of the track and field team who were in Athens, Ga., last weekend competing in the SEC Championships and members of both the men's and women's tennis teams who were participating in the NCAA Championships in Los Angeles, Calif., and Atlanta, Ga.
Track and field members participating in the ceremony included Christopher Bush, Jonathan Juin, Allison Kneip, Lee Moore, Kelly Norton, Sofie Persson and Juliana Smith. The ceremony also included men's tennis player Kalle Norberg and women's tennis players Laura van de Stroet and Connor Vogel.
Provost Morris Stocks announced prior to the student-athletes receiving their diplomas, that collectively, the group graduated with honors.
