The slam dunk.
It's one of the most exciting displays of athleticism in sports. Though it can be defined as simply as shooting a basketball into the hoop from directly above the rim, it is sure to create a flurry of crowd excitement each time it happens.
Starting with hoops legends like Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, immortalized by the likes of Dominique Wilkins and Michael Jordan and taken to new heights by recent notables Vince Carter and LeBron James, dunking is a highlight moment at any basketball game.
The Ole Miss Rebels boasted a high-flying act of their own in 2010-11, racking up a total of 66 dunks by eight different players. Even 5-foot-10 point guard Chris Warren joined in on the fun with a slam in the season opener against Arkansas State.
Sophomore Reginald Buckner and junior Terrance Henry led the way with 31 and 17 dunks, respectively, and both of these high-flying Rebels were highlighted at least once on ESPN SportsCenter's "Top 10 Plays" during the season.
